For beginners

Five runs including the relaxed Airturn Course with views of the Northern Alps, the scenic forest Panorama Course, and the Jaborute Course, the most popular with lessons and families. Not sure of your technique yet? Start on the Beginner Slope.

For intermediates

Six runs including the Shirakaba Course between rows of white birch, the Decollete Course used for certification tests, and the Powder Course that mogul lovers adore. There is also a free gate-training course.

For advanced skiers

The Kamoshika Course, a standard for competition; the Slalom Course beside the quad lift; and the Mount Course with a 42° maximum gradient — six courses in all. Every one is serious terrain to test yourself on.

FOR FAMILY For Families

Families with small children can enjoy the mountain with confidence. Kids Land (admission ¥800, free for ages 0–2, 9:00–16:00) has a moving carpet and a sled course. There is also the gentle Beginner Slope and Kids Ski lessons for ages 4–6 (SAJ Snow School). Lift rides are free for ages 0–3 (1st Lift only, with a guardian). After skiing, warm up in the natural hot spring at Joyful Hoonoki.

Snow Mountain Hike

Discover another side of the mountain on foot.

Ride the lift to the summit area, transfer by snowmobile to Aodare Hill, then walk the snowy mountain with a guide (about 70 min)
